  1. Net Height: Net height is 7' 11 5/8" for men and 7' 4 1/8" for women. Co-ed competition is played on a men's height net. The official height measurement is made in the center of the net. The height of the net at the sidelines can be no more than 3/4" higher than the official height. If you're playing on sand, the measurements are made with the sand raked level, and no accomodation is made for your feet sinking in the sand. If you're playing on grass, the measurements are made to the ground, and not the top of the grass.

  2. Some gyms in the United States have poles with the highest "hole" marked "43" (2m 43cm) for men, and two other lower holes. You simply pull the inner part of the telescope out, insert a pin thru the "hole" to set up the net without worrying about whether it is exactly 7'11-5/8" (or 2m 43cm). I judge the hight by my reach every time, and I believe it has been consistent.

Net height for Women should be 2m 25cm but I don't believe I've seen "25" marked anywhere. I am pretty sure about those two lower holes, one for Women (the lowest one) and one for co-ed (the middle one).

  3. it is going to be taller than the average man or woman.  Your looking at 7 or 8 feet.
