  1. Bye laws are annoying. A bylaw (sometimes also spelled by-law or bye law) most commonly refers to a city or municipal law or ordinance, passed under the authority of a charter or provincial/state law specifying what things may be regulated by the municipality. So, some goverment passes them to unnecessarily control your life.  I can't really think of any useful merits for it, unless the government is in a state of emergency.
