if like a camera man is filming from a distance, the actor is far away what is the clip on mic called and also whats the fluffy microphone called that someone holds

the one the man holds is called a boom and the person holding it is called a boom operator.  Weird thing is if you look on the credits at the end of the movie the boom opperator is actually listed haha.
