  2. They're called baby corn. Great in stir fries and other asian dishes, although I suppose they'd work in American salads.

  5. They are called baby corn. They are ordinary corn planted closer together and harvested much earlier than the kind intended to be boiled on the cob.

    Baby corn, available fresh or canned,  is great in chop suey and with the other veggies in stir-fried noodles. Good source of fiber, provides a refreshing crunch and contrast to mushrooms, bean sprouts and napa cabbage.
