What are the mitigation methods which should be undertaken for tsunami when we are at school?

i am a 10th std student. i want to complete my geography assignment on the above topic on monday ,i didn't get any information.pls help me...............

Best method is to build schools far from the coastal lines, another one is to have informational and alarm networks - so at tsunami time no one will be at dangerous places.

not sure how to help. is there engineering studies for reinforcement of buildings. with the chances of massive tsunami so low, do you really think spending money on mitigation is a good idea? seems money better spent elsewhere
