I just want to know which ones are pretty common but are still circulating. So I don't want to go look for and Indian head cent with a die crack. Just common things like dimes, pennies, etc...

  1. Wheaties for life!!!

  2. You can go for Lincoln cents with die cracks but the most common these days are the die cracks on state quarters. Having grease on the die and one or two or letters in the legends are also very common on the state quarters. Dimes have problems but since they are so small a lot get by people and there is not much of a following for modern dimes anyway. Nickel is a very hard metal and you usually don't find many with die cracks bot so do have filled dies so parts of the legends can be missing. Back to Lincoln cents, since copper is soft and there is usually a metal flow problem near the word Liberty, this causes the letters to run together or look like ther is an I between the b and e. There are others but if you decide to collect these get an error coin book.
