It needs to be accredited, everything needs to be taught online (or by videos or teachers), they have to have advanced courses, etc.

Thanks:-)

  1. May be this site can help you

    http://www.sgpak.com

  2. We use k12. Ohio Virtual Academy. My kids are little tho. 2nd and 3rd grade. It is a complete school year in a box and here in Ohio its totally free, including a computer no matter your household income. My kids school is only on line for Science, History, Music, and Art.  The other core subjects are pencil and paper through Elementary school for obvious reasons. The teachers guides are really thorough, I couldn't be happier.

Some of it is really easy for my daughter but so was the 4 months she went to public school Kindergarten. Last year in 2nd grade, she finished her math book by Dec. When we did that last lesson, the next day, the UPS man delivered a third grade Math book. We finished that book and for the start of this year she has a 4th grade book, and is only in third grade. You can go as fast as you want, and as long as your assigned teacher agrees, and they will.  Most of the just plain busy work can be thrown away and you can just take the end of the chapter exams as long as you score okay. That gives you more hours of the day to focus on independent study that you wouldn't get in a more traditional school.

My son is an average student. Books are not his thing. Art is his passion already. He does great too. We bundle up his lessons and just do one subject a day, but a weeks worth. He has to do every lesson, but thats okay. The lessons are well put together and better than anything else I have seen. He doesn't get frustrated and spends the rest of his days drawing, taking pictues, making home videos, or researching comic books and action movies. He wants to be a movie director when he grows up, right now.

  3. I think I just answered this in your other question.

Abeka, Bob Jones, and Alpha Omega all have online or cd/dvd options as well as books you can order.

  4. Try the Christa MacAuliffe Academy

  5. Try K12 Virtual Academy. They have many advance, honors or AP classes, which would bring up your GPA.

But it depends which state you live in.

    Good Luck! =)

    k12.com

    (it's accredited and it's taught on-line)

  6. Calvert Homeschool is accredited too, but OMG so expenisve.

And when we did use them, after a year of tellign them our son has a learning disablity, they decided he could no longer use them!!!

So all the work he did, went right down the drain too.
