What are the most beautiful seaside places where you usually go during the summer?

(when you don't move from your country)I mean the UK and Ireland's most beautiful ones...Where do you usually go to take a suntan, and what are the most beautiful landscapes?And what about the lakes district?(forgive my English, I'm Italian)

wales has some of the best beaches in the UK around the Swansea area and up the west coast, beautiful scenery as well

The Lake District is beautiful, but you're not likely to get a tan there. The best place for a suntan is in the South West - Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. I live on Portland, just off Weymouth in Dorset, and can really recommend it.

Swanage in dorset or Shanklin on the Isle of wight. The lake district has some dramatic scenery and some lovely places to visit. The yorkshire dales have beautiful landscapes.

This is my nearest beach, just 4 miles away, and it's in a very undiscovered part of Cornwall, so it's almost always deserted. (great for going topless) I just HATE busy resorts, especially the ones with amusement arcades, and fairgrounds, (like Blackpool, and Newquay ugh!!) but this place is truly outstandingly gorgeous!!

I try and get there every day to walk my dog after work.

we have just come back from Swanage, Dorset we had two weeks of glorious sunshine,the beach at Studland is fabulous and the scenery is breathtaking,roll on next years holidays

Well, I live in Cyprus, and my favourite beach has to be Konnos Bay, but in the U.K, I used to love Perranporth Beach in Cornwall, Shanklin Beach on the Isle Of Wight, Whitesands Beach in Cornwall, ....oh, there are so many.....and The Lake District? Gods own country........the scenery is beautiful.....you wouldn't be disappointed anywhere here!!!
