  1. well I live here .. and i would have to say seafood ..because we are surronded by water lol

and yea I love seafood ..the second thing would be citrus fruit like oranges.

  2. It's really contingent on which part of Florida you're from. In the northern part of Florida, you have a southern influence. I lived in Tallahassee and it was common to see alot of catfish, shrimp, and grits on menus. Alot of seafood! In the southern part, you have a large Caribbean and Hispanic influence. You'll see foods like: jerk seasoned meats, seafoods, lime, papaya, coconut, rice, garlic, cumin, avocado and yuca.

  3. i think cuban cuisine is very popular there

  4. it depends what group of people you are around. i am from  south florida (miami) and most of the people are from different caribbean countries so they bring their cooking customs with them. for instance my fam is from trinidad and they cook they foods they would eat in their country.

  5. watermelon.

  6. I live in South central Florida...BBQ, is very popular here- pork ribs, pulled pork, beef, chicken, etc.,  Seafoods like stone crab, shrimp, scallops and fresh fish like Tilapia and Grouper, etc.  Italian and Mexican restaurants are busy. Desserts always include key lime pie and red velvet cake. Sweet iced tea is the drink of choice.

  7. anything with oranges

  8. conch - sea creature
