well a victory margine of around 30 runs and 3 wickets is not very convincing also the fact being the scores of srilanka in these games were at times around 6 for less than 100,

so taking that into consideration the srilankans had a 8 wicket win and 100+ runs win.......

common sense will say that the 1st and 5th games were convincing....

but a loss is a loss no one can't deny it........ but we will rise up again, d**n why they postphoned the champions trophy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luck was with India winning 4 tosses.

another interesting comment to add

overall in the test and oneday series there were 8 games played.

india won 6 tosses and lost 2 games compared to srilanka winning 2 tosses and going on to win both of them

percentage of toss victory and team win for inida 66% while srilanka has 100%.

if srilanka had won all the tosses.....................................

i can only imagine...............................lo...

another coincidence is srilanka wont the first and last toss of the series.

Definitely SriLanka's wins were more convincing.

India started badly and finished poorly,The winning situations created by Indian bowlers were not fully capitalised by Dhoni the captain and their batsmen.Dhoni had a great series as a batsmen bur should have done better as a captain.

Though this is an away series for India they were lucky to win four tosses.

Srilanka had their problems with their batsmen but the performances by Jayawardhane, Thushara, Kulasekara and Mendis were outstanding.

As a matter of fact those two SL wins are huge wins ,A closer inspection of the 3-2 scoreline does indicate that the side playing mediocre cricket beat the one that was downright poor, and under the circumstances, it's hardly surprising that India's first-ever ODI series win in the island nation failed to impress many for good reason.

Every single match in the five-ODI series was decided after one of the two sides collapsed- and India only slipped twice. Also, luck played a big role in the results as the side that won the toss as predicted ,invariably won the match.
