There is the transmission, which is one of the main parts, and the engine for main parts that compose the internal working of the vehicle, basically what are the most expensive parts in a car?

Well the powerplant would probably be the most expensive part even though it's really a collection of components.  If you're talking about a singular component, it would probably be the catalytic converter.
