  1. Immediately I thought of Tino's grand slam in the '98 series but "That Guy Mel" already mentioned it.  Tino was my hero growing up since I was a first baseman in high school and I went bonkers when he jacked that one into the upper deck.  The stadium shook that night.

  2. I have not really seen a Grand Slam that made a huge impact

    soooo, really nothing

    6000 Points!

  3. Marlon Byrd's walk off grand slam on monday.

  4. robin ventura's walk off grand slam single.

    classic.

as for infamous- well aaron heilman's given up 2 this year.

  5. Believe it or not, I've never actually seen a grand slam in the pros!

    haha

plus there haven't really been any famous ones

  6. I was in the park when Fernando Tatis of the Cards hit TWO slams in ONE INNING against the Dodgers....

Since then, I've always referred to that pitcher as Chan Ho "Outta The" Park...

  7. Most famous would be Boone's classic in the 2003 ALCS----who can forget that one

Also there was GIambi's walk off Grand Slam a few years ago in the 13th innning in the pouring rain

i cant think of any infamous ones against the yankees, outside of Bradley's recent one Monday

  8. 2005 White Sox gave up the lead in the World Series. Pauly comes up in the next inning to hit the grand slam to take the lead back and win the game.

  9. The 2 grand slams Dirty Thirty(Nick Swisher) hit with in a weekend

    Go Sox Go

  10. I remember when Chris Hoils hit two in one game at Camden Yards. That was back when I was about 10 I remember watching with my dad. The only bad one I remember is when A-Rod hit that moonshot off Chris Ray last year. If he had got the save the O's would of swept the Yanks in NY.

  11. The walk off GS Monday night.

  12. Tino Martinez's grand slam in Game 1 of the '98 World Series to give the Yankees a 9-5 lead. (Or as I call it, the "Beer Shower" because of the beer splash in the upper deck you saw as fans were celebrating.)

And while I'm not a Mets fan, I remember Ventura's Grand Slam Single against the Braves in '99. I actually felt happy for them.

  13. greg Vaughn in the 98 season, int to eh second level at qualcomm stadium, it was one of the fardest hr hit at that stadium....is infamous to me cause i was there and saw it first hand...
