  1. Can you swim? Have you ever driven/steered (captained?!) a boat before?

  2. Do you have any special access requirements

    can you pay

when do you want to go

    how many people

    any experience

    do you have insurance

  3. Do you get sea sick, or canal sick as the case may be.

  4. As boating holidays are de facto activity holidays, then a tour operator should be asking whether any member of the party has any mobility issues or disability which would mean either that a boating holiday is not recommended for that person or that a particular boat or equipment would be necessary. Swimmer or not, you can wear a life jacket to be safe but if you cant see or hear properly then you could get into trouble and if you cant move around easily to moor a boat then you could get yourself and the boat into trouble.

  5. "What can we do to make your stay with us a great experience"?

  6. Always  find out what your guests capabilities are, and to let you know if they are in any way uncomfortable  with the situation. I always ask my guests if they get seasick, and to let me know if they are not comfortable with water and weather conditions. Also ask them what they expect from the trip. One more thing, I always give my guests a short orientation on all the safety gear, and how to use the radio. It's not always necesarry, but it gives the guests a sense of confidence in your professionalism.

  7. Sir, Would u like to pay cash or credit card?................lol
