Don't ask me to prepare some drink myself and bring along to some places here :).

  1. Pasir Ris Park

  2. The Clinic in Clarke Quay is the most unusual bar on earth (IMHO). You sit in wheelchairs, and cocktails are served in intravenous drip bags - it's not as spooky as it sounds - but it is very weird. It is now one of the premier hangouts for the trendy bar set in Singapore

  3. gunung pulai waterfall...open meh???...i tot it is totally closed....after the fatal landslide few years ago....only a few months ago i went it was closed...tat place looks eerie....now...

anyhow gunung pulai is in Johor M'sia...

..if u want "happening" place...i suggest Clark Quay...

..for quiet places...go to Botanic Gardens...tho can be a bit pricey....

,,,,or buy foodstuff and go to sentosa....

EDIT:...weiii william...now Pasir Ris got crocodile maa....somemore water not safe

    ...; P

  4. Go to the recently revamped site of Big Splash at East Coast Park. There are good places to chill out with friends.

The other one would be at Dempsey Road. Its got good places to chill out too. It's a unique experience.

    Enjoy!

  5. 1. For essentially Chinese food with a slightly quirky twist, consider Tong Shui Cafe (Liang Seah Place)

    2. A cosy, comfortable Turkish restaurant? Consider Alaturka Turkish Restaurant (Bussorah St, Kampong Glam)

    3. For views over the city skyline and Singapore River, consider the highest situated restaurant complex in Singapore, the Equinox complex:

  6. Curious is right, try Arab street, just wander into the lanes at the back, there are some niche little cozy places there.

Alternatively, how about Fisherman's Village on Pasir Ris Beach? Food and drinks by the shoreline.

  7. If what you want is to have a long chat with friends over drinks, I would suggest finding a spot at vivo city. Pack some drinks from near by coffee outlets and find a spot outside vivo city shopping centre facing the sea overlooking Sentosa, a very nice place to laugh out loud and talk loud and enjoy the breeze.

    Cheap and good.

  8. Lots of nice restaurants along Arab street..Bussorah, Baghdad, Muscat, Kandahar Street... you can unwind, enjoy the ambience and get some shishas... ;)

  9. I would suggest Holland Village. There are alot of restaurants and cafes there, from Mexican cuisine to Vietnamese. Then there's gelare, Haagen Daz, starbucks, coffee bean, coffee club, wala wala and many many more places.

One place that I would recommend is the 2am Bar. Kinda pricey, but the ambience there is nice, with mostly young, working adults.

I like the Starbucks there, it's got a very cosy feel to it and there's even a balcony to chill at if you don't want to be in the air con. And of course, there are many people from different countries, so you wont feel like you are in Singapore at all. Holland Village is just a very nice place to chill at. So give it a try.

  10. Gunong Pulai Waterfall is a great place to look at.
