It doesn't really matter.  The numbers are random, so even if it was shown that 42 was the most commonly drawn number since the lottery began, it does not follow that that number is any more or less likely to be drawn next week.

The National Lottery has something like 14 million possible combinations that could be drawn.  There have been 1300 draws since the lottery began.  That's a really tiny sample of 14 million.  It's not going to give you any insight into the future.

If there were a way of predicting the numbers, the lottery would be won each week by a math professor.
