well in latin america and europe soccer is #1 but like in asia or usa basketball is the most popular also in europe like in spain rugby ,cricket ,vollyball also are sports popular in the world but i think between basketball or soccer

If you're talking Spain, it would go: Football, Basketball, everything else. Actually I don't know what #3 is in Spain, probably Handball
