What are the most serious problems facing the world today?

I have a little list of my own, but welcome comment on the relative seriousness of any. My list includes global warming, peak oil, human population, the food crisis, the water crisis...

Global warming is the biggest problem for the whole world , but individual countries  each have different problems that are more threating to them. The climate is changing and whether the cause is human activity or natural, it will have an impact on the   weather  for everybody and we will have to cope with the results.

The war in Iraq, gangs and gang violence, congress probably about to legalize pot (about means within the next 10 years), the oil costs, african americans (lol). I could make a longer list but I don't feel like it >.<

not trying to offend (sorry if i do)... but i've always thought of global warming as a myth.. there have been studies that have revealed that the earth simply goes through natural cycles of heating and cooling... kind of the same way the economy naturally fluctuates through highs and lows, but unlike the economy global warming cycle lasts thousands of years...

World poverty I believe is still a very big problem too.

Racism is definitely a big problem- as is hatred, which in my opinion has driven many conflicts.

Genocide is another issue.  It keeps occurring throughout history and needless people die...mass slaughter in my opinion (besides genocide because the definition of it has been argued by many) because it goes on and on, time and time again- as is today in Darfur and Congo.

I'm a bit tired at the moment so I'll end here. Hope you liked my points.  I welcome your insight on them :) and look forward to what you think.
