There are so many, it all depends on your budget and what type of music you like.  Also it depends where you are staying!

The Light

Big Chill Bar

Big Chill House

Lounge Lovers

Vertigo

Absolubt Ice Bar

There are so many but the main bar areas apart from the Touristy large chain bars in Central London is Hoxton/Old Street/ Shoreditch/ Brick Lane areas are all covered with trendy bars.

There are plenty of traditional pubs dotted around for some good old fashion drinking!!

The best bars I have been to in London are:

Vertigo42 (http://www.vertigo42.co.uk/ ) - very posh, very expensive champagne bar with amazing views (its on the 42nd floor).  Worth a visit, but make sure you book.

Oxo tower (http://www.oxotower.co.uk/indexIE.html ) also has great views across the thames and do really good cocktails.
