As well as the tri-nations there is also the six nations in Feb/March which is between Scotland,Ireland,Wales,France, Italy and England. There is also the world cup every four years usually at September October time and also every four years there is the British and Irish lions tour which is when a squad of the top players from Scotland,Ireland,Wales and England go on a tour to SA NZ or Australia and play warm-up games against clubs then three test matches against the host country. The last lions tour was in 2005 to NZ so in 2009 it will be to SA then in 2013 to Au and so on.
