This is my favorite. It's called APSense, you get paid to advertise. Although the minimum payout is high, it's still free and I achieved great success in getting my website out there after being a member for just 2 weeks. APSense even has Yahoo! Answers capabilities. It a very well done site packed with features. It's a great center to get your ads out there. You can even do more when you have a banner.

I use autosurf programs like www.topsurfing.net to get free hits to your site. They help a lot in getting your website higher in the search engines.  I have never paid for any advertising and my sites do well in search engines.
