What are the names of the positions on board off shore oil rigs?

i'm interested in working on a off shore oil rig. just wanted to know what positions rookies start off at ?

i know, but just came up with a blank, check out a web site or two, i think rigworker.com is one, or some tihng like that.

I'm not sure what the position titles would be, but I've heard those guys work long hours on the rigs but make pretty good money.  In the Gulf of Mexico, they'll be on the rigs for 2 weeks at a time, then they'll get 2 weeks off, so if you're married, it may not be the easiest job to work around with the wife.

I know this because my husband works in that business. The job titles are much the same as on land for the rig workers. From low status to high are : roustabout, welders helper, roughneck, driller, tool pusher, company man. Here is a link to a site that describes the various jobs and how to apply.
