1. Cedar Point has broken many records over time. Magnum Xl-200 was the first coaster to pass the 200 foot barrier, and that is probally the answer to this particular question. Top Thrill Dragster was the tallest/fastest coaster on the planet at one time, until Six Flags Great Adventure's Kingda Ka opened. TTD also was the fastest coaster until Kingda Ka opened.

2. The tallest coaster in Japan is Steel Dragon 2000(5th tallest on the planet), and its height is actually 318 feet tall. Right behind it is Thunder Dolphin at 262 feet, as is the 7th tallest in the world. Fujiyama is 259 feet tall, and is the 8th tallest.

1) Top Thrill Dragster because thats the only actuall vertical drop. But if you are talking just first drop in general a lot of their coasters were record breakers when they first came out (millenium force, magnum, gemini)

4) That would be the Beast.  And it still is the longest wooden coaster in the world.  Son of beast is also the tallest, fastest, steepest wooden coaster.
