What are the nature of science?

The nature of science is to imagine research and discover.  How do you think Charles Richter invented the Richter Scale to monitor earthquakes.  He imagined how we can try to come up with an early warning system just by finding a way to monitor an Earthquake and find the epicenter and focus.  Then he did his research in trying to find sensors to monitor different waves below the surface, then eventually he came up with the Richter Scale.  To study science, you have a new unlimited horizon and goals to achieve.  For those who appreciate Science I solute them! I too am a student/mentor in science.
