I've always known too much sugar is bad for you. I've heard that about 25 g per day is fine. But, I would like to know what would happen if you ate way too much sugar over along period of time (Other than tooth decay).

  1. Sugar opens the gateways in your cells for fat storage - so you gain weight, not to mention having a sugar buzz.  And diabetes is a definite possibility.

  2. you would gain weight and it would probably give you some health problem such as diabetes possibly, heart problems it all depends. plus it doesn't make your body very strong so it does no good for your muscles.

  3. As a non-diabetic you would be adding calories or fat to your body which would result in weight gain which in turn could eventually result in heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and a host of other medical conditions.

As a diabetic it would cause your blood sugars to elevate and remain elevated causing untold damage to your body's systems and organs. It would also result in everything I've mentioned as a non-diabetic.
