Its the new home phone service that you can get for $9.99 a month. So far everything about it seems great.

  1. I signed up one week ago and LOVE IT.  I'm keeping my landline for emergencies since 911 is dependent on you entering an address on TMobile website.  But you can downgrade your landline service and save about $30 month (I currently pay $46 month for landline)

But for TMobile @ Home, the quality is good.  Peeps I've been talking to don't know is is VOIP.  Great features that you pay a premium if you have landline.  I may even be able to downgrade my cell phone plan since I will be saving minutes using @Home.  If you already have TMobile, I would strongly encourage you to get the home service.  I'm hooked.

  2. I currently have this service for about a month now. I love it.

    pros

    1. yes it is 10.00 a month and the price will not change. I jumped on this because I pay about 90.00 a month with verizon.

    2. you can keep your current land line number or in my case I was assigned a new number and guess what no telemarketers have called yet.

    3. no difference in call quality.

4.you get voice mail free( verizon cost 5.00) and all the other features 3 way, call forwarding, call waiting etc free.

    5. you don't need phone jacks you can plug any phone into the router.

    6. no long wait for tech support. I wait 10 mins for t-mob but an hour for verizon.

7.when you move everything goes with you and if cable is already in your new place you just plug in and instant service.

    cons

    1. you must be approved for more than 1 phone line. I was lucky my family has 3 lines we only used 2 so the third line is t-mobile home.

    2. it is just like having a cellphone so if you cancel service you will pay 200 bucks.

    3. if you have my faves than you must put home in those faves or be charged  to call home.

    4. must have hi-speed internet service dsl/cable it uses a link system router this was a con for me because I had just brought a router the week before. If your internet has a problem you will not be able to use your phones.

    5. activation fee of $35.00 and cost of router I think $ 50.00. However all of this can be added to you cellphone bill and it is a one time fee. I needed the service like asap so I paid for the router at t-mobile store.

    6. 911 service is different you must keep your address up to date if not they will show up at the last address on file.

All in all this is a great deal if I add up all the totals for set up I still make out like a bandit.

  3. i was going to get this service but wanting to wait until i heard the cons, interesting question though, im gonna have to keep track of this quesiton
