  1. The negatives are less jobs and companies moving overseas.

    The positives are better technology

  2. The net effect of trade is positive but some people are hurt by it. Increase trade between countries benefits the consumers in both countries, but the benefit to workers are uneven. Workers in exporting sectors  benefit at the expense  of importing ones and  investors in rich countries gain more compared to workers while in poor countries workers. receive the bulk of the benefits.

  3. negative- loss of individualism, increase in the issues on the smaller scale.

positive- being able to subdue the issues that are of larger scale, one person or group possibly ruling the world

  4. Negatives:

    -polution

    -loss of local businesses

-lower wages in more affluent countries

    -lack of autonomy

-lack of culture in the future

  5. Positives would be the increasing knowledge of 'others' around us.

Negatives would be loss of individuality caused by mass media or corporations going global, like McDonalds for example. Culture is being replaced by a single culture and therefore loss of a national identity.

  6. Positives:   Globalization reduces the cost of production. Thus coupled with competition leads to lower retail prices on the goods you consume. Leading to an increased purchasing power of your dollar and a higher standard of living. Example: If Computers were made in the USA, the cost would be so high that you would most likely not have one.

Negatives:  Globalization creates trade imbalances between countries. A consuming nation like the United States runs a trade deficit, while the producing nation like China runs a trade surplus. This creates a declining currency valuation of the consuming nation and an appreciating valuation of the producing nation.

If the United States can l**k its trade imbalance, Globalization is a plus for society. Not to mention the millions of jobs it creates in developing nations to help lift them out of poverty.
