What are the number of plumbers in the UK?

I need to find out the nuber of plumbers and/or plumbing organisations in the UK. If you could fin out, I would really appreciate it - I just can't find the answer.

Firstly not enough im afraid, but this is a rough guide for you based on 2006 data.

Plumbing Companies  =  38,000

Plumbers                       =  185,000

I know its a bit outdated but you can adjust accordingly, id guess its dropped a little.

You must also understand that many are self-employed and are not as such a plumbing hiring company.
