  1. You mean, individual clubs (ie, Driver, 3 wood) or total number of clubs in the bag? To answer the total number, 14.

  2. 1W, 3W,5W, 3I, 4I, 5I, 6I, 7I, 8I, 9I, PW, SW, Putter.

    That is a basic set of clubs that has everything you would need. And I'm sure that you know the W means "wood" and the I means "iron". PW is pitching wedge, SW is sand wedge. For a total of 13 clubs, and if you play tournaments....you are not allowed to have more than 14 clubs in your bag FYI. Hope this answers your question. Good luck.

  3. IThe number of clubs in the standard set is 14. If you are looking for a set of clubs for yourself and want to get the most bang for the buck , get a driver with a minimum fo 12.5 degrees loft. This will get the ball airborne. Then fairway woods, numbers 5,7 and 9 which are also easy to use and get the ball airborne.Buy Hybrids 3 and 4 to replace hard to hit irons with the same numbers.Then complete the iron set of 5,6,7,8,9 ,pw,sw and putter. That will give you a total of 14 clubs. If you plan to be  a social golfer, get a few less than the 14 and seek a golf pro's advice. as to the selection.

  4. 14 clubs according to the rules. but i guess i it doesn't really matter if your not playing in any tournaments.

  5. You are suposed to have no more than 14 clubs in your bag;

    normally you have: Irons, from No. 2  (optional) to No 9; a Driver, a putter, three woods ( No. 3, 5 and 7 or the equivalent in Hybrids); no matter if you got two drivers, or 3 wedges but never more than 14 clubs in total. In few words, if you want to got, 1 driver, 1 putter, two wedges and the rest of iron woods, dont worry, its your choice.

    Have a good game.-

  6. The numbers are on the bottom of the clubs.  Woods and hybrids have 2 sets of numbers.  One denoting the loft of the club and the other stating what kind of club it is(e.g. 3 for 3 wood or 3 hybrid).  You can carry as many clubs as you want to for recreational use or as many your back can handle if you're walking.  In tournament play, the max number is 14.

  7. you cant have more then 14 clubs

  8. 14

  9. 14 clubs of any variety you want is the rule.

    Most sets have a driver (1 wood) and 3 wood.

    Irons:  3,4,5,6,7,8,9,Wedge,Sand Wedge, Putter

    that leaves you 2 more clubs to carry.   Common clubs are a hybrid or a 5-wood and a Lob Wedge.
