What are the odds of guessing a persons number from 0-50?

i was messing around with some friends and my sisters like.. k.. ima think of a number from 0-50 and i guessed it right on the dot

then she thought of another one.. i guessed it too

this happened 4 more times

what are the odds of somebody guessing 6 random numbers from 0-50 in one guess??

p.s. the numbers were totally random..

like they weere... 32, 46, 29, 15, 43, and 39 yeah.. RANDOM

  2. (1/50)^6 or 1 in 15625000000.  So pretty low.  The chances of her lying and saying that's what she was thinking of are much, much higher.  In this case, I'd say 1/1.

    If you think you're actually guessing it correctly, have her write it down next time before you guess.  And if you can still get it right that way, this guy will give you a million bucks to repeat the trick for him.  http://www.randi.org  Watch out though - he's a magician, so he'll know if you're cheating.

    Your odds of getting it right once are 1/50.  Your odds of getting it right twice are (1/50)^2.  And so on.  Even if you guessed 6 in a row on pure chance (as you can see, very unlikely) the chances of you getting the next one are still 1/50.

  3. Theoretically there is a 1 in 50 chance of getting it right. However if you guessed 6 numbers out 6, odds say that you have a very high chance of picking the next one.
