  1. I'll serve you up some fugu if you dont give m'thoo his 10 points!

and If I have to remind you again then you owe me another 10 points!

EDIT - How's about a tip hey Aza???... for not breaking your legs?!

btw...M'thoose says he hopes you enjoyed and please do "come" again!!

  2. It depends who's preparing it.

Fugu is the Japanese name for what is commonly known as blowfish or pufferfish.  Japanese chefs must study for 7 years to be licensed to serve the fish.  You can learn more about that here:

I live in Japan, and every year here there is a report in the news of a death from mispreparation of fugu, usually by someone without a license to serve it.  Basically, if even one small slip of the knife allows a toxin to enter the part of the fish you are eating, you are D-E-A-D.

I would say that if you are preparing the fugu yourself with no experience, if it is prepared by an unlicensed chef, your odds have got to be up in the high 70% range for death.

Stick to a trained chef.  That ought to take it down to almost 0%.  Almost.

Fugu is not something to be messed with, man.

  3. Very slight. A properly trained sushi chef knows what to do with it. I'd love to try it sometime. Why not? At least you don't have to worry about cholesterol!

  4. I can tell you if you served that to me, you would be stricken with a case of "blue balls".

(((Aza))) Pay Boo koo no mind,..he is just a child who cowers and runs when faced with a real woman, he runs to hump lamp posts.  'Tiz sad but true.  He can satisfy nobody but himself at best.
