What are the odds that Santa Anita will cancel racing on Saturday?

Unlikely.  No matter how drenched that track is, with the Sunshine Millions and an ESPN broadcast, I think they're going to be pretty forced into having racing.  It's really too bad they couldn't fix the track before now and have it ready for the Millions... or do it right in the first place... or after California didn't get rain for months, why does it have to downpour this weekend?

i live in arcadia, which is where the race track is

and it has been raining pretty hard

but it has been a bit sunny here and there

so only time will tell

Santa Anita will be closed for awhile. They are having major rain and drainage problems with the track and the ran just won't stop.

So, pray that the rain stops or you'll be waiting for awhile!
