What are the odds that my vacation would be severely interurupted by a tropical storm in punta cana, DR?

i'm considering going on a vacation to punta cana dominican republic starting the 19th coming back the 26th. what are hte odds that a tropical storm will make me regret the whoel trip?

Chances are very limited that you would have your vacation ruined by one.  Check the site below it has an almanac so you can  check past years.  Go and enjoy.

The odds are extremely low. You may get some rain but that would only last for a few minutes in the day...a tropical brief shower. Most of the rain occurs at sunrise, late in the afternoon or at night. Don't worry too much about a hurricane. If for some crazy reason there is a hurricane, you'll be protected and it might help you with more deep thinking ;-)

Punta Cana is considered one of the drier areas in the DR.

Pick a stock and invest $1000 in it. Chances of you having bad luck in both are unlikely.

Go there and have a good time....even the weather guys don't know. Role the dice.

i highly doubt you will encounter a hurricane, we went in sept last year and had rain every day for about an hour tops, it ruined nothing, and in fact was quite fun!! perfect place for reflection though. we went to the north between sosua and caberete, at a hotel called suerclubs breezes and i cried coming home cos i was so sad to leave!!! Enjoy!!

The odds : 1/99 For example here in Puerto Plata we ad 3 hurricanes in 115 years.
