  1. what are you 75 these dont exist anymore and have been destroyed, they are all control by the Panama government now, I was joking earlier

  2. experimentation of viruses to kill of whole populations so the n**i's can grab thier countires naturel resources.

  3. Fort Clayton is home to the US Embassy the old building 519. Some of the old Infantry barracks are used for office building for different things. The housing on all those bases are for sell to who ever whats to buy. They have built some new houses towards the back entrance of Ft. Clayton. Fort Kobbe is being used by the Panama police force as a training barracks. Most of Ft. Kobbe is dead looking. They have a Red cross building on Kobbe. The Old Howard Air Force base now has a big Dell warehouse and training center, and most of Howard is like a old ghost town also.

I was just back there about 2 years ago and went through these old bases, sure is different then when the US was there. And to watch the ships go through the canal across from Clayton they have built a nice new observation building with gift shop and restaurant, and they charge Americans and other tourist to go in to the Observation tower.

  4. I was stationed in Panama 1981-1983 . Ft. Gulick and Ft. Sherman , with a little time at Ft. Clayton . I've checked around, and talked with an old buddy who served with me after he went back to visit a couple of years ago(he married a Panamanian ). Everything I've heard is not good . Our beautiful bases are now in ruins . I don't hold disdain for the Panamanian people though .

Their government infrastructure was ruined by Noriega . BTW, I was there the day he took over . You missed the best days because they ended when Noriega came to power . There was a sizable American civilian population(including American GIRLS) before him, but the mass exodus occurred swiftly thereafter .

What did you do there ? What service ? . . . Remember the Ancon Inn ? Monkey meat on a stick ? Ft. Sherman's JOTC and Devil's Beach ? Feel free to email me .

    Thank you
