What are the other options that are like the Nissan Altima Coupe?

I'm leaving for a year and would like to buy a brand new car when I get back with all the cool stuff in it. I was originally looking at the Nissan 350Z but I would like a back seat. To get a fully loaded Nissan Altima Coupe it would cost a little over $30,000. What are the other (cheaper) options? My main thing is that I want something to respond nicely when I step on the gas and it has to have two doors.

Toyota, Honda and mitsu are good brands, the best and also affordable.

I have an Altima Coupe, but I couldn't afford the get all the options as I now have two cars.  It is fun to drive and looks really nice.  If you get the V6 the gas mileage will not be very good, but I bet it will fly.
