What are the parameters for uploading a Yahoo Group main page photo?

I created a photo montage in Photoshop and saved it as a JPEG, but even though I keep reducing the size of that image, it's not showing up although it 'seems' to upload.

What am I doing wrong?

try under 2 megs, or use  <img src=http://--->  in the discription and store it off site, like photo bucket.com
