What are the parts of platform balance???

please give me some answers i need it until this Monday...this august 4, 2008........please give opinions

Pointer, degree plate, pans, riders, 0-10 grams scale, 20-400 grams scale, vertical rods, assembly plate, zero adjuster.

The pointer shows +/- bias indicated by the degree plate. To insure there is no bias (the pointer points to the middle of the degree plate), you use the zero adjuster.

Riders are those you move along the 0-10 and 20-400 grams scale. Vertical rods support the pans. The assembly plate is the base of the balance.
