What are the parts of the inside of a guitar called?

I just bought an old Fender Stratocaster and the whole thing is messed up, inside and out. I took literally everything off of the guitar, including the inside, and all of it is rusted up or broken and they can't be used. I don't know alot about the inside parts of a guitar, but I need to know about these parts so I can buy new ones.

If anyone could give me a diagram of the inside of the guitar, or just tell me the names of the parts, I would be very gratefull.

I have a Fender Stratocaster.

Thank you.

  1. This diagram might be useful:

Or you might want to take it down to your local guitar shop and ask some advice there. The chances are they'll be more than happy to give you some pointers.

  3. The tremelo is the thing in the back with the springs.  The pickups are what gets the sound "picked up" by the amplifier.  You need 2 tone pots and a volume pot.

  4. guitar parts.
