What are the peak HP and peak rpms on these vehicles ( I know the engine has something to do with it )?

Chevy Impala- ???hp ????rpms

Dodge Charger- ???hp ????rpms

Ford Fusion- ???hp ????rpms

Toyota Camry- ???hp ????rpms

Chevy Silverado- ???hp ????rpms

Dodge Ram- ???hp ????rpms

Ford F Series- ???hp ????rpms

Toyota Tundra- ???hp ????rpms

  1. If you look in the cars, you can see the tachometer next to the speedometer. That is where it tells you the max rpm.

    The redline is the most you can go.

    The tachometer either has numbers 1-8, 10-80, or 1000-8000 rpm.

    To find HP, search on yahoo "2008 Chevy Impala specs"

    Andy search result would tell you the HP.

    Impala has around 175HP for the 4 cylinder and around 250-265HP for the V6.

    Same for the Fusion and Camry.


  2. Each of these vehicles has multiple engine options, I am not going to look this up for you.

    Go to Edmunds.com, that is a site you can use for these answers, or you can go to the web sites of Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and Toyota.  

  3. Does it really matter? Performance isn't really as important in redline and horsepower as it is power to weight ratio, gear ratios and overall stuff that can only be measured either by a test drive or times (0-60, 60-0, 1/4 mile, etc).
