What are the people called that use devices to pick up paranormal noises that can not be usually heard?

This has been bugging me FOREVER! I cant seem to remember! I really can't remember if they use a device to pick up tho noises, or if they just sense it. I think some people call them ghost hunters, but thats not the title that i CANT remember. If someone said it though, i'd remember. PLEASE HELP!

the equipment that detects sounds that the human ear cannot pick up is called a Parabolic Microphone.

People who use parabolic mics, generally like to be refered to as Paranormal Investigators, or sometimes Ghost Hunters.

People who can hear paranormal activity are Clairaudient.

People who can see paranormal activity are Clairvoyiant.

Some people who do investigations based on their own abilities sometimes like to be referred to as Mediums,  spiritual advisors or ghost hunters.
