My dad wants me to get a license so I can drive a 40' motor yacht. Is that what I need or is there another license I need? and what are the perks?

Boating Safety Certificates are usually for insurance purposes and, when you get a boat inspection, you are not hassled as much. Some states now require it to ensure

safety on the water. It's not a bad idea to take this course

as it teaches many things about boating!
