  1. Physical risks - Smoking deteriorates the alveoli in your lungs and affects them with many layers of carbon. Smoking is attributed to be the largest cause of lung cancer and it also triggers asthma, bronchitis, laryngitis and in some few cases tonsillitis and malfunction of thyroid gland.

    Intellectual risks - Smokers are said to react very lately even to normal intellectual situations as their brain is conditioned to work only in the influence of nicotine. Smoking has also been said to cause Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and host of other brain degenerative diseases.

    Emotional risks - Makes you feel insecure and unsatisfied. Affects your s*x life which can take an emotional toll on you and your partner. can make you lonely in social gatherings as you may have to go out to smoke on regular intervals.

    Social risks - Causes cancer and other lung diseases due to passive smoking. not acceptable on a large scale and people may shun you out from various places for your habit.

    So Think again before you light that stick...
