  1. Hi,

    Your main problem is the customers.

    OK. they pay the wages, but I would not touch retail food outlets for love nor money.

    My sister operates a high street chippy, and does fine, but when working in youthcare, I got jobs for ex-residents at KFC or McD for a while.

    They all hated it, but went on to better things.

    The pitfalls are silly hours, poor wages, hassle.
