If you want to venture out,  1) there is a place called Nagarjuna Sagar, Massive Earthen dam roughly about 3 hours drive or Picturesque Srisailam dam/famous Siva temple- one day

  5. Charmainar is interesting, be prepared to be grabbed at and constantly have people wanting to sell you their wares.  I would skip Salar Jung museum, it's not much worth the time.  Chowmahalia Palace is a really neat place and you can get some great pictures.  Lumbini Park is a good place to go to at night and the floating Buddha statue is gorgeous.  Mainland Chinese restaurant is an excellent place to eat.  All of these things can be done for under 4000 RS total.  It's a very cheap place to visit really.  If your in the market for pearls it's an excellent place to pick some up.  I just got back from there last week and the weather is really great right now but it is getting hotter everyday and soon it will be monsoon season.  Oh Golconda Fort is also worth a visit.
