What are the places to avoid in Canada besides these?

I was evicted from Vernon by the police just after 5 weeks. To this day I don't know why! I'm now allowed to shop in Vernon and visit CMHA there but that's it!

I've spent 3 years in Sault St. Marie and there was lots of insulting gossip there (but not as bad as Enderby). It was bad enough to walk away from becoming the mayor of Sault St.Marie!

I don't know what the worst place to live in would be but the person that said Sudbury has no jobs doesn't know what they are talking about!!!

Sudbury has the lowest unemployment rate in Ontario right now.  There are jobs everywhere!  Every place you go has a help wanted sign.  People from all over Canada are moving there to find good jobs and employers can't find enough people to fill their vacancies.

Canada is a big place, so first I would recommend letting us know what part (or parts) of Canada you are interested in, then we can point out the "not-so-pleasant" areas there.

For example, you suggested places in BC and Ontario. For the BC area, I heard that the Burnaby area of Greater Vancouver was a high crime area. In Ontario, Port Colbourne used to be a nice retirement town but now I hear it is all rundown and dirty.

Don't go to Manitoba! That place is a sh*thole, especially Winnipeg! I think I also agree that Sudbury, Ont is a pretty crappy city.

Too funny that you list Kirkland Lake and New Liskeard. I have resided in both these places and found them deplorable. I would say it depends on what you are looking for in a place to live. Your age, your job/education status, what social things you enjoy. I cannot make any recommendations without knowing these things...............

If you want an exciting place then I don't recommend Winnipeg. I found it very boring there.

thunder bay has no economy. same with sudbury, ontario. NO JOBS they are both very much university towns.

You may want to ask people which cities they DO recommend and why.  This may give you a better look at Canada instead of just asking for the negative.  Also be more specific about what positives and negatives you're looking for in a city.
