There is a cure. Lock up addicts in a padded room and wait it out. It'll only be a few days of sickness and they'll be clean. The real reason that cocaine is so prevalent in many societies is because, in spite of it being illegal, it's tolerated. If we severely punished anyone found possessing or using cocaine, people would be afraid to use it. That's how it is in Malaysia. There, people sniff dung to get high. If caught with real narcotics, the minimal sentence is mandatory public execution.
