I know them in union but there are no flankers in league but there are still numbers 6 and 7.Does the full back wear 13 (not 15)?

I like both games...better than that non-contact football played today. I don't understand this bickering between league and union...which is tougher, better, faster etc??..they are two different (great) games.

  1. In league you get 13 finely tuned athletes, with immense power and speed, in union u get a bunch of fat b*****d knuckleheads / toff boys who only know how to kick the ball out of play and smash heads together errr duhh hahaha! unions ****!!!

  2. GoTheGre... was talking sense. Then like a typical woman, It all went to pieces at the end...

    I agree with you.

Both games are great and have advantages over one another. Positions are as Yorkie said above

    J-Cep,

You need to calm down, you're having a bad day.

Don't take it out on people here.

Just relax, everything will be OK

  3. 1 Is the full back

    2 Right Winger

    3 Right Centre

    4 Left Centre

    5 Left Winger

6 Scrum Half (stand off half back)

    7 Scrumage Halfback

    8 Prop Forward

    9 Hooker

    10 Prop Forward

    11 2nd Row Forward

    12 2nd Row Forward

    13 Loose Forward

Hope this helps Hull to beat Warrington tonight

  4. I would have to say, even as a union supporter, that the leaguies are right. Watching rugby union in the past few years with all the recently added rules has been frustrating at best. Scrums have been a real problem in union, and for viewers it is off-putting when those precious minutes can be used to score tries. Im not saying league is better, but it does keep you watching for the full 80. Furthermore the Super 14 competition has adapted to negate these problems- new laws which indicate a faster-paced game.

On an off-note im looking forward to this years RLWC.

  5. 1- Fullback

    4- Left Centre

    5- Left Winger

In terms of fitness, the argument is Rugby League players have to be alot fitter and very athletic.

There's more kicking in Union, not as many trys scored, and they take every opportunity to go for goal.

    3 points for kicking a goal...please let's pack a scrum 8 times!!

Put it this way, the dead players edging retirment who are struggling in League movie to Union and make it into the England squad, now what does that say when those players can't even make it into there Internationasl squads.

Union is a joke, Ta Ta
