What are the positive and difficult aspects of being an architect...Help is appreciated :]

  1. Positive thing is, it is enjoyable profession but it depends on the person who will study it, as I think there is creativity and challenge in the profession beside that it is such a profession where all ways you will get the opportunity to make designs.

    Difficult aspect is, you have to be very calculative in drawing as you need to maintain accuracy in designing , and you have to hold the patience and show tolerance in the profession.

  2. Ah, Architecture ^_^

    Positives: It is a challenging yet fun career, exercising your creativity and knowledge on a daily basis. Starting pay isn't half bad,  and after about 10-15 years, It gets pretty nice (100k's).

    Negatives-(Depends on Person) First thing I said in Positives. It's hard, you need GREAT Math skills, Art skills help (Though In this day and age Free Hand is being replaced with computer programs). To me, this is a VERY underpaid job for the requirements. Then Again, I think A LOT of jobs are underpaid..
