  1. I think Marxism is based on conflict theory, that is the conflicts in societies are indispensable, and simply puts it, the roots of inequalities lies in unequal ownership, contribution and distribution of materials. Thus, there is class struggles and revolutions in society, the next form is always better than the previous ones. The solution is that communism heading forward to a just society, where just and fair ownership and distribution for all peoples.

Applying Marxism in international relations, conflicts are unavoidable. The core is about the economics and power relations of ownership, contribution and distribution of goods. However, positive aspects are that the goals for the common good ends, though it is criticized as Utopia. Though now other theories ( such as postmodernism) questioned the validity of Marxism, claiming that there is not only economics as the only cause of inequality, the Marxism is still powerful tool to understand the issues of societies in the world, where the development pace is varied from regions to regions, countries to countries.
