What are the positives and negatives about make-up?

Mainly, I want to know what make-up can provide for your face is you use it all the time.

Namely: Blush on, foundation and Concealer.

I also want to know the positives and negatives of make-ups.

Some mineral foundations and concealers, can help your skin become healthier (just look for natural ingredients)

But as a negative using the wrong type of make-up can leave with worse skin then you had before using it; causing more blemishes and open pores.

well it just depends what kindof make up you use.

I use all mineral makeup from mary kay. you dont have to use as much and it looks really good on!!! my mary kay lady told me it was good for your skin.

nothing it just cover's up your flaws..and makes your skin break out unless you use a water based maked up

Make-up makes your face look fresh and prettier if applying correctly and at a right amount. Negatives could be if you cover your face with make-up too much and too long, you could end up with break-outs. Also, makeup makes your face look plastic and unnatural if you use it too much. So i suggest just put on a bit. On special occasions, you might want to get a fancy look.

sometimes foundation can be good for your skin. u just have to get the right kind. a lot of foundations have spf, moisturizers and stuff like that which could help ur skin in the future.
