I have seen a little bit of grey powder but a lot more of pink powder?

Can anyone tell me what the powders are?

  1. The grey powder is common old garden gun-powder, still used in fireworks, I haven't seen a pink powder.

  2. If they are made across the border, I think the Pink powder you are talking of is Red coloring bleeding through!

I believe the two main components for firecrackers are potassium nitrate (white) and charcoal (black)

  3. The black is coarse black gunpowder - no good for weapons, and the others are various alloys of aluminium, designed to burn when ignited by the black powder. The different alloy mixes give them their burning colour.
